Inspired by classic ceramic works, the Valo by designer Adam Weaver is a ceramic light that uses an LED fixture to illuminate your place. The Valo slides open or closed on glass sleeves that allow for situational involvement. When closed, it gives an intimate glow that shoots a spotlight on a surface, and when open, it lights the entire room with a cool glow. The Lens of the LED can be changed to different shades according to the mood and occasion. The Valo is lightweight and the matte finish gives another tactile involvement that encourages the user to explore its role and positions. The glass sleeves are made of recycled glass and the LED fixture uses a low watt system powered by two AA rechargeable batteries. The Valo can easy be move to different location as there is no cord to hamper the portability.
