Urban Camping offers refuge for not-so-adventurous urban nomads

Urban areas might sound like a strange place for trekking or camping, but Belgian architects import.export turning improbable into probable has come up with a mobile multi-story structure that confers the modern nomads with a hassle-free camping area within the urban environment. Hailed as “Urban Camping” (UC), the construction is finished with a steel structure that supports four platforms wherein urban wanderers can pitch up their tents and enjoy the view of the city life, of course not as pleasing as the natural view of an unhurt place. Inaugurated last month in Antwerp for the Kaailand Festival exhibition on mobile architecture, the UC can be deployed in any place or city center, offering a personal space for not-so-adventurous city nomads where they can pitch their tent for an overnight stay, meet friends other campers and enjoy basic facilities in the safe refuge.
