The Solar Wave Pavilion for a Greener Earth
ShilpiDubeyPathak | Jul 9 2008

Solar lanterns and solar heaters are no more new, but if I talk of Solar Wave Pavilion which can house a crowd and generate electricity plus water, you definitely would be interested. Though, still a concept, designer Micheal Jantzen, is hell bent on bringing this solar pavilion to reality very soon. The wavy pavilion is designed in such a manner that it can feed on Sun light and produce electrical energy through photovoltaic cells. Not only this, this energy can also be stored in the form of Hydrogen gas. The rain water stored on the rooftop of the structure can be reused for harvesting the fields and other purposes. Jantzen intends to use recycled steel to make this pavilion. So much for the eco-lovers, if actually brought to life, it can solve the world’s energy problems and make the world a greener place to live in!
