The Montenegro Residences is the name of the project which is located in the bay between Budva og Svedi Stefan. The designers have picked a steeply inclined area, which incorporates 8.000 meter square of major residential real estate. The idea behind the chosen spot is to give the inhabitants a luxurious setting where they can enjoy the ultimate view gifted by nature.
Bjarke Ingels Group – BIG - is a Copenhagen based group of 85 architects, designers, builders and thinkers.This particular project team comprises of talented individuals like Bjarke Ingels, Rune Hansen, Sebastian Frerichs, Armen Menendian, Morten Wulff, Brian Yang and Grisha Zotov. They have planned out the residences not as separate structures, jutting out of the rock, but have taken up the challenge to blend them into the landscape. For this purpose, they have followed the step farming pattern, by forming a terraced landscape of housing. The mountain is left in the natural form and the building moulds into the curves naturally, providing large gardens facing the magnificent sight.
