Displayed at the Royal College of Art show two, the Drop by designer Olivia Decaris is a series of tent-like structures, which offers a personal space while working on a desk, sitting on a table or even sleeping on the bed. Intended particularly for domestic use, the Drop Series aims to bring concentration, privacy and intimacy among the family members. Comprising a dining structure that gather family members around the dining table and a Working Drop to offer an ergonomic posture on the desk or workstation, the series also includes the Sleeping Drop capable of adopting the shape of a standard mattress, allowing a tranquil space for a sound sleep. During the night, the drop illuminates to create a mesmerizing atmosphere, offering a personal space in restaurants and other public places.
