Special Edition Eames Lounge Chair made of Brazilian rosewood
Parul | Dec 21 2007

DWR brings you a classic Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair LCW, made of Brazilian santos palisander, a type of rosewood. Designed by brothers Charles and Ray Eames in 1946, the lounge chair is the supreme result of their experimentation by using thin sheets of wood veneer to create a gamut of shapes. The chair has 8-ply legs, a 5-ply set, maple inner ply, lumbar support, and rubber shock mounts, to complement the palisander face veneer. This particular santos palisander Eames chair is a special edition of the original, being honoured by DWR and Herman Miller. It has a commemorative medallion on the underside. The Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair LCW is available from DWR for $1200
