Boasting sophisticated control of 3D models and easier access to 3D applications, Logitech-owned renowned maker of three-dimensional controllers, 3DConnexion, has now popped up with a 3D mouse that allows superior comfort with minimum disruptions to users. Hailed as the “SpacePilot Pro,” the 3D mouse also includes an improved Navigation for MCAD, new dual-function QuickView Navigation keys (five) and a one-touch 32-view access, while the color LCD display allocates listing function-key assignments, access to email, calendar and task lists. Moreover, users can move in all (three) dimensions simultaneously, courtesy of the six-degrees Cof-freedom sensor technology used in the mouse. The 3Dconnexion 3D mouse is compatible with XP and Vista, Solaris 8 and 10 and various flavors of Linux. Obviously, this kind of advanced luxury is going to come at a price - and that price is $500.
