Freelance graphic, identity and furniture designer Felipe Zanardi has a rather interesting take on Brazilian popular design culture and his rather interesting design for outdoor seating simply bowls us over with its simplicity and ingenuity. By combining two armchairs and one resting net in one single piece, the Sosseso outdoor seating solution certainly is unusual especially considering how users sitting in the armchair will have their backs facing each other which effectively extinguishes the scope for a face to face conversation though it can be pretty awesome if you’re trying to resolve a fight or are planning to share a drink on the beach with your shrink!
The best feature of this chair, however, is the resting nest which is revealed when the armchairs are inverted. It may be slightly narrow for those used to a full-fledged hammock but given how you don’t need to be anywhere even near tress to use it, it can be a pretty great thing for discerning sunbathers!
