Snail: a multi-media radio of sorts for your desktop
Naresh Chauhan | May 8 2009

Drawing inspiration from an eyeball, designer John Lee is out there with a radio that apart from its functional use (playing your favorite FM music or news bulletins) will give a new refreshing look to your desktop or workstation. Hailed as the “Snail Personal,” the desktop radio features a round LED display, enclosed in a metallic black cover, which, other than showing the particular station currently switched to, also works as a touchscreen to control volume and radio frequencies. The Snail also includes an oval shaped stereo speaker, similar to the pupil of an eyeball, in the center that ensures high quality sound, together with conferring a stylish look to the radio.
