'Shake-Up!': Music headphones for the deaf
Asmita | Jul 14 2008

The brainchild of designer Pierre-Antoine Bouzard, this astonishing new headphone design claims to be able to make hearing-challenged people be able to enjoy music. Astounding as that sounds, but “Shake-Up!” headphone concept lets the deaf “feel” the music. Though the success of the design will really have to be seen to be believed, but the concept is a nice attempt at making the world of music more accessible to the people who aren’t naturally born with the ability to do so.

Perhaps if big corps like Sony looked to develop this concept into a real working music player for the deaf, we might even be able to share the beautiful sensations of music with our hearing-challenged friends and even have hearing aids that will help people to communicate without having to use sign language.
