Serpent Electric Car changes tone in the sun
Naresh Chauhan | Sep 7 2009

Serpent by designer by Guillermo Bautista is a two-seater electric car that can accommodate four commuters, since there are two elastic surfaces in the back part that unfolds to lodge two more passengers. Ideal for highways trip, as it features an intelligent glass awning that changes its tonality following sun rays, the concept car utilizes in-wheel electric motors, thereby minimizing transmission losses. Featuring touchscreen or tactile technology, the electric car integrates a small camera at the rear to transmit images on the screen located alongside the steering wheel and act like rear-view mirror. In short, the Serpent is a smart city car that allows a safe and sustainable commutation on cramped city roads.
