By very nature a circular composition does not allow too many permutations. Think again! round°n sofa designed by Verena Holzmann shows how far off the target that assumption is. round°n sofa is a concept (no prizes for guessing) circular couch. However, the plastic design is composed of four individual components which also render themselves to various other arrangements. This flexible sofa in its whole is a luxurious sitting area and the user can just step in after removing shoes (we wouldn’t want that upholstery to get dirty now would we.). In case the user wants a new arrangement he may use the four available pieces (one at a time or a combination of the same) to create new sitting areas and designs. I’d assume that the method used to connect these pieces is simple enough to allow new combinations on a regular basis. round°n sofa looks luxurious and is good enough for a variety of needs. That’s tasty, i mean the sofa bowl looks like a sexy silver bowl full of red jelly, just lovely.
I like the idea so far, could be stupid oin practical life but it looks beautiful nonetheless, this is one good example of great sofa-cum-bed :D
