Renault Vitesse aims for safe future roads
Naresh Chauhan | Nov 6 2008

With rapidly increasing speed of modern vehicles, resulting in soaring mishaps on jam packed roads, a need for automated highways and suitably equipped vehicles have become an essential traffic requirement, so that needless causalities, owing to high speed, can be prevented. Responding to the alarming traffic situation, James Logan has designed a compact city car, the Renault Vitesse, which will run on Intelligent Highways. Equipped with the latest technology, the futuristic vehicle will be fitted with unique bike mountings, cutting the need for roof racks or carriers. The vehicle is specially designed for automated highways that will keep the vehicle in control and ensure the safety of the driver as well as the passengers, along with other road users.

Design Status:

The Renault Vitesse is a concept car that will run on futuristic automated highways, which will probably become a reality by 2028.

Usability:

Apart from the safety of the passengers, the futuristic vehicle will also ensure green traveling. The Renault Vitesse would be finished with extremely lightweight hybrid plastic and powered by hydrogen fuel cells, a clean and eco-friendly fuel for modern vehicles.

Great concept! This Renault Vitesse is really cute. But this is somewhat similar to a Toyota Avanza. Im just wondering if it is a fuel savers vehicle?
