Products born out of coded visualization

Guess what this maze is all about. If u can’t, join the club. Even after finding out that this thing is a sofa, I had a tough time believing my eyes. Designer Rodolphe Dogniaux plays around with coded visualizations and the result is the confusing items you see here. He proposes that if a weave pattern can be a structural element of a function, then he can use it to conceive objects. Born out of this concept is the black leather sofa, which again, is actually a set of two sofas! Your guests are going to go crazy trying to figure out where to sit on this.

Equally amusing is the coded zoned silverware based on geometrical weave. Note how the spoon has two heads on a single body. Same with the knife. But my favorite is the fork, a spike of which unexpectedly turns into a spoon. I am not sure about the utility of these, but hey are definitely fun to look at.
