Pita: New way to roll in sandwiches
Atul | Sep 10 2008

I stay alone most of the times and thus believe that sandwiches are the ideal breakfast. But the problem with getting sandwiches ready is my sad toaster needs me to be there or else charcoal would be my breakfast. Something that could pop up baked sandwiches without the need of you being around is thus the best variant as far as I am concerned. The name is ‘pita’ and this variant has been designed by Asaf Yogev. Pita just needs you to put in the stuff inside and whilst you wash your dishes, a readily baked sandwich would pop out within seconds. As of now, it is a mere design but I believe that it would get into mass production when some electronic giant gets to see what it can do. Video after the jump.

This looks cool... Hope it delivers when it hits the shelves.

Neat - my gf always puts pita bread in the toaster and it never works properly this is both functional and cool.
