Olympic Torch is a tribute to the celebration of human achievements
Naresh Chauhan | Jul 4 2009

Designers may have least to do with the sporting events, but when it comes to the Olympics, everybody wants to contribute or play their part in making the mega event a success. An entry at the Core77 One Hour Design Challenge, the Olympic Torch Concept by Michael DiTullo is an identical tribute to the tradition of the celebration of human achievements at the mega event. The Olympic Torch by the Boston based designer combines some of the beauties of the tradition of North European bent wood furniture and product design, conferring an ergonomic and sleek design to the torch.
