Located at Spencer Dock, on the northern part of the Liffey (Dublin), the National Conference Center by the Irish-born Pritzker Prize winner architect, Kevin Roche, is a landmark structure for Dublin that attracting visitors (domestic as well as global) will help in reviving the tourism industry of the nation. Accommodating a 2,000-seat auditorium, two 450-seat multi-media halls, exhibition spaces, conference banqueting halls, meeting rooms and lecture areas, the conference and exhibition center will include the full range of facilities usually associated with state of the art conference centers internationally. Moreover, the convention center is planned to attach with a hotel as well that comes equipped with an indoor pool, exercise rooms, dining rooms, lounges and meeting rooms to greet delegates and visitors from different parts of the world. Finished with concrete and steel fibers, the complex makes use of sustainable energy sources and will help the guests in lowering their carbon footprints.
