It is the 21st century and now, it is showing! While bidding adieu to hand-embroidered motifs and manually painted prints, please welcome with a round of applause the new detailing accessories in the world of furiture. This very interesting sofa was spotted at the That’s Design! exhibition organised by the Domus Academy, Politechnic Design, INDACO and ZonaTortona to bring to surface the latent creativity of young and budding designers. The newly-found trinity in creativity are Pablo Crespo, Martin Franzén and Isaac Pineiro who have put together this rather simple yet flashy Mr. Hyde Sofa. An otherwise understated form and colour are touched-up with LED lights that give the perception of an arm rest, cushion’s contours and a very detailed backrest. This is, without a doubt, a new take on detailing in the world of furniture designs. So, get this one before it becomes commonplace, everything happens at the speed of light here, it’s 21st century after all!
