MOY: Expressive technology on the ‘move’
Naresh Chauhan | Apr 7 2009

Winning entry in a contest held during auto(r) Automotive Design Conference in Zagreb, Croatia, the MOY by Elvis Tomljenovic, a student designer from the Zagreb School of Design, is a concept car for all who use technology as means to express themselves and communicate with others. Generating power from batteries that charge electro motors set in wheels and controlled by drive-by-wire technology, the MOY uses wireless data transfer or sharing through web site, forum and e-mail, becoming a new medium of promotion. Finished with outer and inner polycarbonate layers, with layers of liquid crystals, LED diodes and electro chromic foil (film) in between, the futuristic car is capable of displaying both static images and videos. No matter, whether you are a professional or an amateur designer, now you can design your own car on your own computer through the option of downloading ready-made designs.
