Motorbike concept clad in carbon fiber is a quick and light ride
Harshpaul | Sep 30 2009

Designed by Julian Silva, this motorbike was based on different pieces of work from H.R. Giger, through morphological analysis that defined all formal aspects. It is a prospective light vehicle concept, with a framework made of aluminum and covered with carbon fiber panels that store all mechanical systems. This motorbike was designed to encapsulate the pilot´s arms, legs and back through the secondary red panels whose functions are to keep the pilot safe in case of a fall and also improve aerodynamics. It has a rear traction system integrated in the main framework, the front system consists of a uniaxial arm that supports the front wheel and improves the vehicle´s stability. This singular traction system allows reduction of the number of mechanical components and cuts off the total weight of the motorbike to make its performance better.

[Thanks, Julian]
