We have already seen some of the most radical furniture units in the past, but the ‘Membrane’ chaise lounge by Korban Flaubert with its rebellious material and design just sits atop all. Finished with stainless steel, the seating unit features an ergonomic design and looks more like a sculpture than a chaise lounge. Since, the main function of a chaise lounge or recliner is to provide a comfortable resting place to the users; however, the idea of using metal as base material to produce a lounge doesn’t seem too practical to complement the primary purpose of relaxing seats.
