McLaren LM5, reviving the style and precision of the McLaren F1

Reviving the style and precision of the renowned McLaren F1, the designer of the KTM Motorbike, Matt Williams, has come up with car concept that moves on both road and track with ease. Entitled “McLaren LM5,” the sports car much like the F1 makes use of more extreme and race-influenced bodywork. Presenting a three-seat layout with a central driver’s seat, the LM5 integrates a multifunction steering wheel with a central display for the tachometer, allowing better controls at high speed. The sports seats with racing-style four-point harnesses feature a very slim profile, which not only reduces the weight, but also makes the interiors spacious as well. Generating power from a 5.0 liter V10 engine from BMW, the concept car includes the carbon fiber pre-preg chassis, reinforced to the entire body.
