MCET multipurpose vehicle for a safe and sustainable ride
Naresh Chauhan | Sep 19 2009

Inspired by Malaysian woodpecker, designer Mohd Azam Abd Halim has come up with a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) that promises to provide a safe and comfortable commutation in the compact and cramped roads or streets of Malaysia. Dubbed “MCET” (Malaysian city eco-transit), the public transportation by the Malaysian designer generates power from 1000 cc electric engine, supported by lithium ion battery, allowing an environmentally friendly ride. Measuring 3463mm in length, 1855mm in height and 1566mm in width, the five door mini MPV only weights 865 kg and comes with a wheelbase of 2390mm.
