Atmospherics series of vases by Hani Reshid are very unusual conceptions. These are conceptualized in resin and are completely rendered in black. Peculiar patterns and odd geometry is at play in these vases. Tagged Fugu, Ubu and Roi these were put on display shelf recently. Now it seems Materialise.MGX has used its rapid manufacturing to create these pieces in epoxy, polyamide and chrome. The vases look terrific and are quite reminiscent of pottery. One could as easily relate them with natural phenomena like whirlpools. Sitting on your tabletop they’d make quite an elegant statement. It is not sure if these have been made available commercially as of now.
