With the spread of cyber punk and the rise of anime and manga, we were not entirely surprised by the unusual dimensions that designer Umo Masada chose for his latest creation. Christened the Ari Ants bubble armchair, the ultra-futuristic design offers a soothing cocoon for the leisurely user. Though the design can look rather restricting what with a less-than-comfortable looking covered up overhead space, but the seat is just perfect for curling up in an infantile position whenever you need a li’l TLC. Made with a lovely dark gray upholstery and chrome legs, the design easily fits into any retro-futuristic/haute contemporary setup with ease transforming the décor with its dynamism and sheer charm.
