Lee Stoetzel's green message - A wooden van
Somya | Mar 8 2008

This one reminds me of that anecdote, imagine a wooden car with wooden wheels and wooden steering, what will happen to it? But jokes apart, I believe it will work. If not on the road then in explicitly stating the ultimate aim of the auto industry to power vehicles with zero-emission fuels. This genius, Lee Stoetzel, is a New York based designer who validated the belief that New York has a strange kind of appeal to the artists and craftsmen. This rare combination of environment, machine and art is a truly an art form to cherish. The resistance of wood implies conservation, machines imply progress and art lends an element of spirituality, who said that the wooden car wooden work? I think I would like to eat my words.

If you plan to drive this van (if it is possible, that is), you better put some cargo liners first to avoid destroying the wooden finish of the van.
