Ladybug iPod dock in new avatars
Naresh Chauhan | Jan 3 2009

Elated by the success of the award winning Ladybug, Vestalife and RKS have joined hands to launch their new products, Firefly (above) and Jewelbox (below) speaker systems, at CES and Macworld in January 2009. Designed by RKS, the new speaker docks for the iPod family presents almost identical features apart from a built-in subwoofer in the Firefly that is missing in the Jewelbox. Both the docking stations include a iPod/iPhone universal dock, digital amplifier technology, remote control, battery saving automatic shut-off, touch-sensitive LED volume indicators, audio/Video output jack, USB port and 3.5mm Aux input. Powered by rechargeable lithium-ion battery or with AC power supply, the speaker docks also present an auxillary-in jack to connect non-docking iPod, CD players and other MP3 players. They are capable of charging most of the dockable iPod/iPhone models, together with iPod mini, iPod nano (1st generation), iPod nano (2nd generation) and iPod with color display. All the features are looking impressive, including their curvy wings, but we will have to wait for the MacWorld and CES for pricing and availability.
