JOYN dividing curtain from Design Code
Asmita | May 15 2008

For people who like to add drama to their living spaces and like the décor of one room to stand in harmony with the adjacent one without contrasting too much, Japanese born and Barcelona-based product designer Hiroshi Tsunoda has come up with this delightful JOYN curtain that can serve as a beautiful wall hanging curtain as well as a room divider. An aesthetic solution to separate environments, JOYN from Design Code is composed of small hexagonal modular pieces that can be joined together in limitless dimensions to create an enigmatic yet porous screen to be enjoyed from both sides. By combining simplicity with geometric patterns and ecological materials like paper and recyclable plastics, Tsunoda is able to create an optical illusion of pervasive space inside any room.
