Iris turns car’s dashboard into universal remote control

With modern autos setting new trends in luxury, comfort and entertainment, music or other entertainment systems have become an integral part of the contemporary vehicles. French designer Pierre-Antoine Botton. teaming up with Continental Company, has come up with an interactive platform which lets you consult (rather control) music, vocal emails and news with just a touch of your finger or even through voice commands. The “Iris,” as the designers calls the platform, comes embedded on the dashboard and lets you launch a vocal search by touching the main area on the screen. You may either consult the data by sliding the map with your finger or select it directly with a touch of your finger, while the further info appears randomly on the screen. Moreover, you can expand or reduce the data card by assembling or separating your fingers. With the Iris, now you’ll have complete control of your car’s entertainment system.
