Naresh Chauhan | Mar 18 2009

There is nothing strange about iPod-attached gadgets and accessories nowadays, as the celebrated PMP from Apple automatically becomes the premier choice to rock on the surroundings. However, the latest basketball hoop with an integrated iPod will certainly excite many a viewer as well as players in the next ball game. Licensed for iPod use, the iHoop from Spalding is essentially a basketball hoop with a built-in audio system that is capable of bursting 30-watts of sound via two 3″ ear-level speakers and a 5″ subwoofer located at the base. Finished with weather resistant marine grade speakers, the iHoop also includes a suspension cradle to protect your music system in the open basketball court. There is no info on the availability, but the iHoop will cost you about $1300.
