HALCYON takes you on a wild ride leaving no trace behind

Letting his love for nature loose in his designs, designer Ralph Tayler-Webb has come up with a futuristic car named “HALCYON” that not only presents a unique design but also concerns for the nature around us. Inspired by the Owl, Ralph’s HALCYON concept is clean, efficient, ultra-lightweight and eerily silent. Harmonious with the undulating landscape, for which it is formed, you can drift in a mysterious silence, treading lightly and leaving the wilderness just as wild as you found it.

HALCYON embraces naturally quiet electric power and in turn eliminates emissions on the vehicles immediate surroundings. Reducing aerodynamic disturbance to a minimum, covered wheels and a tapering teardrop cabin are assisted by gently twisting surface transitions to coax the air around the body with a mere whisper. With a structure made from porous aluminum foam, HALCYON mimics the owl’s hollow bones and makes it surprisingly light for its generous volume. In short, the HALCYON concept allows you to love the wilderness, but leave no trace...
