Naresh Chauhan | Dec 24 2009

An entry at an international design competition in Milan, the “Instant House” from H3AR Architecture and Design as its name depict is a temporary residential mini unit which can easily be constructed within no time. The brainchild of the Polish designer Hugon Kowalski, the Instant House makes use of sustainable materials, including cylinders made from styrofoam concrete to improves acoustics and insulation together with TI02 to check air pollution, so the residents could breath fresh and stay healthy within. Using the concrete made from rice husks, the instant structure will further reduce the carbon footprints of the residents.
