Green Chest turns household waste into natural fertilizer
Naresh Chauhan | Nov 18 2009

Household waste is possibly the major reason for an unhygienic environment, not only within but outside the home as well. Providing a solution, designer Juyoung Kim has come up with an indoor composting system that turns kitchen garbage into natural fertilizer for your garden as well as indoor plants. Hailed as “Green Chest,” the composting system dries up all water from the waste inside with infrared heat, thanks to the evaporation system, and creates an anti-virus environment. The grinder grinds the dry garbage above the chest constantly to turn it into the fertilizer. Other than composting the everyday waste conveniently, the indoor composting system also helps in sustaining the the environment through natural fertilizers.
