'Ghettoblaster for Monks' has pious intentions

The most common binding factor in any community is music that it believes in. The power and energy resonates throughout the fabric of the congregation. From the notes of the choir singing in a mass to the street kids with their boombox rapping on the streets, music transcends all barriers and belongs to all. With modernization we have seen the musical implements shrink in size. From robust gramophones to the card-sized flash players, progressions indicate downsizing. Industrial designer Renze J. Rispens has a different take on this progression. His Ghettoblaster Monk is a multifunctional system, designed specifically for monks who spread the word of god using music as a medium. The specially designed form factor doubles up as comfortable seating for tired soles (or souls perhaps). Community service trough the medium that knows no bounds is quite a devout expression on Renze’s part. I know whom he can employ as his brand ambassador for this player…Sister Deloris from Sister Act.
