I cannot emphasis this enough but I really, really do not like to see people put out designs that look like severed parts of a human body. And this lamp design called ‘The Girls’ from Yellow Goat Design custom lighting is no exception. I mean who would really like to have a bunch of female heads lining the top of their dining tables. Apart from Hannibal Lector, I can’t think of many other names. Though they are only mannequins fitted with black gauze masks, 20 watt compact fluoro lighting and opal diffuser, what they symbolize is just too deeply disturbing and a don’t think any amount of therapy could ever cure the shock of having eaten a meat dish under a bunch of these.
