Frame Bar by Dimitris Tsigos offer multidimensional poly-surfaces

No longer will the Greek city of Athens be known just for it’s famous Acropolis as the St. George Lycabettus Hotel recently opened the doors to its much awaited Frame Lounge Bar in the heart of Kolonaki. The restaurant offers a wide range of exquisite cuisines in a stylish yet casual atmosphere. The concept behind this was designed by architect Dimitris Tsigos. His design at first included the usual chairs, tables, stands and bars. He then rearticulated them into continuous geometries, offering multi-use poly-surfaces. The main materials used for this project was heat-formed starron (corrian equivalent) and the Spanish marble known as emperador. What resulted was a fine blend of white stripes enveloping the space contrasted with the brown marble floors of the emperador. The restaurant boasts a team of five resident DJs and Radio Producers with occasional appearances by Guest DJs from around the world. The Frame is open daily for lunch and dinner and also offers many varieties of coffees and fresh fruit juices. So the next time you happen to be in Athens, be sure to check out the beautiful restaurant. A must visit for every tourist.
