Embedded Communication System for the eye
Naresh Chauhan | Feb 27 2009

Call it an eyewear or a spy gadget, the ECS (Embedded Communication System) by Ben Coble is a multifunctional product that not just protects your eyes from dust and bright light but also gives hearing protection to the wearer. Featuring dual touchstrips, one for volume and other for the radio channel, the ECS also presents a two-way radio receiver, incorporated in the frame, which transmits audio signals in both earplugs through a small speaker. The frame of the ECS folds to expose charging contacts, while magnetic charging pegs attract contacts. When not in use, you may remove the earplugs and use the ECS as regular sunglasses.
