DYA Cell Phone slides diagonally to make or receive a call
Naresh Chauhan | Jul 14 2009

Exploring a different way of opening or sliding a cell phone with current technology, designer Aran Mun has devised a unique mobile phone that using the diagonal cut becomes compact when not in use, but at the same time large enough to be use comfortably when you open it up to make or receive a call. Hailed as “DYA Cell Phone,” the futuristic phone features rounded bubble-button, which is fun and easy to press without actually looking at it. The button composition itself is unusual yet very obvious. Number 1 is on the top and then rest of them in order from left to right, while it’s back is coated with elastic paint to give a softer touch as well as to prevent damage if the phone is dropped.

[Thanks Aran]
