Here is a chance for all architects and design students to win some great money by letting your creative juices flow by designing for The Moroccan Bazaar.The contest focuses on Moorish style lighting incorporated into a Moroccan theme project.
The contestants are required to recreate a Moroccan space with an emphasis on lighting through chandeliers, table and Floor lamps, wall sconces, or outdoor light fixtures. You can get lighting ideas for the Moroccan theme at their website.
The contestants have an option to choose their space which could be a bedroom, lounge, patio, living room or a commercial space such as a restaurant, bar hotel or a hookah lounge and the spotlight is on artistic hand made Moroccan lighting. The contest ends on March 30th and the winner takes home a cool $1500.00 and will automatically enter the 2007 ‘Moroccan design of the year’ award. Who knows, YOU could be the designer of the year for 2007.
