Copylight cellphone adds flowing light to incoming calls
Bharat | Oct 21 2009

When we receive a call on our cellphone, there are only two preferred ways we get to know of it. Either it is through the ringing volume presumed as auditory sense, or it is as vibration, tactile sensation that is. Now, to recreate that to a new sense i.e. light (vision), designer Sang-Hoon Lee has resurrected the Copylight concept. Under this, as the designer explains, light is made to flow like water to get the mobile user to know when he is getting a call. So when the mobile phone is placed inside the pocket, the user can sense the incoming call when the light from the mobile phone flows out from the pocket. Or when it is laid on a floor, or some surface the light flows down and spreads, intimating a call. So gear yourselves for the visual reception of calls with the Copylight.

Cheers Sang-Hoon Lee
