It doesn’t matter how hard you try to disguise your feelings, Sara Forsmark’s latest concept revolves around colors and emotions. A fun way to decipher other people’s state of mind, Sara’s device comes handy for those who hesitate to open up with their sentiments.
Design status: This color emoting concept is on the charts. Though it isn’t as significant and essential gadget that we cannot do without, the designer has targeted a sect of people who have trouble expressing their emotions.
Usage:
Linked to a computer, this device speaks with colors that exhibit the wearers emotions. Working on a biometric data system, it is a handy tool to ward of folks when it blinks red (for anger). Also pink hue can express your feeling of being smitten as you blush in someone’s company. I feel at times user will need to keep it out of sight to avoid ugly scenes when it sports a green shade that stands for greed or jealousy.
I can do with a gadget that can do just the opposite. That is hide my emotions as I land in trouble with my frank and blunt persona.

Lol....yeah Ruchi. Such gadgets may be helpful for those who want to flaunt their emotions but what abt something that can help hide some unwanted display of sentiments.
hmm.. true deepa.. there are certain when we wudnt want the opp person to know what we feel or rather what we r going thru... a befitting example wud be hiding tears from sum1 who made yu cry in the first place, but is not a person who deserves to be arnd you * strait face *

oh I know many people whom I can give this product as gift! They have great difficulty in expressing their emotions and atleast the opposite person will know what that guy/girl is feeling!! Where can I place the order? :P

dun no why, it makes me think of the same guy who apparently works with a cosmetic industry and is suddenly given the powers to read a person’s mind !

But seriously, I feel its very healthy to be able to show emotions. Bottled up emotions can cause stress and serious health disorders. I personally never hide my emotions... if I like someone, I let the person know I like him/her and tell them exactly what I feel about them and if I dislike someone, the person will know exactly that, both in my words and action :)
I think its very important to let the other person know just exactly what you think of him/her... it not only helps in having healthy relationship, but also makes the other person feel happy (if you like him/her).
And you know what, I guess I was influenced into this kind of thinking by a movie... Robert Redford in indecent proposal :)
So, I feel this device is extremely important if you know people who have trouble showing emotions OR if you are in sales to know the mood of the client before starting your sales talks :P
Hey Mr., the movie is ”Everybody Says I’m Fine!” and it was written n directed by the great Rahul Bose but he wasn’t the lucky hair stylist. Rehan was the guy who was blessed with that mind-readign trait! Gr8 movie :)

I think this device will be a boon for many people. Like in sales that I already mentioned, employees will surely gift it to their bosses so they know the mood before asking for raise or leave... it will also be a hit with college crowd, or even to know mood of spouse.
These are all apparent uses, am sure there will be many more so-far-hidden uses of this product.
well...i dunno about you Manish, but from my industry experience, the only thing that i’ve actually grasped is the fact that a smart employee can predict the bosses mood in a fraction of a second. See after a certain amount of time, that is one trick you have to learn. This device will help in the short term but the sooner you get the trick, the better it is.
