Coca-Cola goes BlaK with Coffee
Charu | Mar 31 2006

BlaK is going to be the latest buzz in United States’ beverage world for this is the latest carbonated fusion beverage from Coca-Cola North America that is all set to hit the markets on April 3rd.

With Blak Coca-Cola is all set to give tough competition to Pepsi for this has come as an answer to Pepsi’s Cafe-Chino. BlaK is claimed to be the premium fusion of the good old Coca-Cola and coffee.

As far as the packaging is concerned, you’ll get BlaK in the familiar glass bottles that will serve you with 45 calories per 8-oz. serving and a tolerable amount of caffeine.

So, with BlaK all the Coca-cola lovers have got another reason to love the drink all the more...for this time it will refresh you with a twist.

Thanks Joe

Having tried it, I can say Blak is actually not that bad, other than seeming a bit pricier ($4.99!) than other energy drinks on the market. At 49 calories, it’s definitely not going to break any calorie banks, unless you’re prone to otherwise unhealthy consumption trends. You Big Fat Fatty!

Blak gives a nice refreshing lift and doesn’t have have overly strong coffee tastes, for those who don’t like java.

If Coke would put the stuff on sale, I’d snatch a lot more of it…maybe wholesellers will have it at a better price.

I personally hope it makes it on the market...it’s a different, welcome twist to the otherwise fruity tooty energy drink scene.
