In response to the problem of shrinking living space in modern urban apartments, the Studio X Design Group has come up with a modular installation that, fulfilling the varied needs of different users, converts small spaces into a proper living as well as working space. Dubbed “Circuit Box,” the compact unit presents all the necessary elements to live in a minimal space. Finished with a series of rings lying one inside the other, the multifunctional installation, plugging like an electric circuit, hangs to a track rail system to slide one through the other without any interruption. And each ring is equipped with a series of accessories to fulfill different requirements of the users. You may not just carve a kitchen, bath or seating out of the unit, but it also turns into a functional workstation with table, chair and other accessories required at a workspace. The Circuit Box with its modular characteristics adapt to different situations and let the users to make most out of the least available space, which they can utilize for multiple activities.
