Chocolate Chess rewards winner with opponent's edible pieces
Naresh Chauhan | Jun 17 2009

Drawing inspiration from a folklore tale, wherein a Croatian king plays chess with an Italian king to capture numerous islands of the Croatian coast as the prizes, the Chocolate Chess from Key Design is a modern depiction of the old Croatian legend. Replacing the islands with chocolate, the Chocolate Chess rewards the victorious player with the opponent’s pieces, finished with edible chocolate, which he or she can eat at the end of the game. Not too sure about the adult chess players, but the Chocolate Chess is definitely gonna attract lots of young players toward the classic game of chess.
