Cellulose cardboard pod allows privacy in crowded workplaces
Naresh Chauhan | Nov 20 2009

Designed to enhance the work efficiency and relationship between the employees at workplace, French designer Paul Coudamy has come up with a meeting pod that provides privacy or enclosure in an open space for better understanding. Called the “Cellulose,” the pod is made in cardboard, which other than providing a temporary retreat in crowded spaces, lets the users adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle, for the pod is entirely recyclable. Capable of accommodating a small group of up to four people, the meeting pod can be installed or collapsed with minimum fuss. The pod is composed of 90 percent air and honeycomb cardboard which not only makes it lightweight for easy transportation but also fire resistant, ensuring durability.
