That looks like an incredibly small space between the bottom of the lap desk and the actual chair? How big of a thigh can fit in there? ;) Also, I wonder about the size of the lap desk itself, how big of a laptop could fit on it? I like the idea, I just wonder about the implementation.

It’s a James Bond waiting room chair for two! Very interesting. I wonder how strong the base is, and the hinge construction is going to be critical for two reasons: 1) they’ll pinch and catch! 2) lots of potential stresses on those hinges will require extra strength along several axes. You can’t just use door hinges, the screws will have so much stress on them they’ll pop right out; piano hinges alleviate some of the problem, but you really need something stronger than that even.
This is a really good idea, very good of space, contemporary design and i can see its functional as well, well done! But i personality think the back rest and the arm rest doesnt look ’solid’ enough,looks fragile and seems it could snap easily :(
How are the arms supposed to completely fold in underneath to turn it into a table?? For me, if I am on the comp I can’t sit still unless I’m comfortable. Don’t think the ergonomics have been completely thought through...
I really love the idea of this chair not only is it a great design but it is also completely functional and versatile, I love it. I am slightly scared of the price.
