Cigarette butt litter, making its ominous presence felt in the list of major environment pollutants, has become a key issue for governments around the world. Offering a solution to the problem, designer Rocco Avallone has designed an innovative can called “Butt2Butt Can” that apart from working as a public ashtray also designates smoking sections at public spaces through its sculptural design. The Butt2Butt Can not only ensures proper disposal of cigarette butts for a healthy environment, but keeps non-smokers away from passive smoke as well.
