I’ve come across an interesting GUI project by Patrick Wilke, a student from Knowlton School of Architecture, the Ohio State University. Aquarium Platinum, explores the seriality of columnar structures. Columns are to found in natural formations as well as architectural designs. Think of natural formations like stalagmites or columns of beautiful buildings! Patrick has advanced pictures in support of his computer-generated imagery and that has won him Third Place in the Gui Competition at his school. Check out the pics below to see the arguments that he provides in support of his Aquarium Platinum. Surely, students of architecture will appreciate the logic in his viewpoint.
