'33 rounds' CD storage also makes nice decoration
Gabriel A | Jun 21 2008

‘33 rounds’ is a nice compact disc storage system that holds up to 12 compact disc cases. The nice dark wood shade complements the petal design. The design also incorporates some functionality by rotating the top disc carrier for easily sorting through the discs. The designers also tried to make the disc holder eco-friendly by using recyclable materials for a lot of its parts. The dark brown color of the 33 rounds makes it a nice center-piece for a wooden table, perhaps a coffee table. Since most people have a lot more than a dozen discs in their collections, this rotating rack will probably house only the most preferred and most frequently played discs. It would however, be desirable for this unit to store more discs, even though this would mean trading off the petal design. In its present form, however, it is a nice piece of decoration for the living room. ‘33 rounds’ is designed by Energy Design for the ‘wood & design’ competition. From its design I say it was one of the prominent entries entered into the competition.
